I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of
your letter of 19th July 1935 on the subject of priority
in respect of claims for rates in winding up China
companies, and to send for your information, and for
any comments you may wish to make, a copy of a minute
by the Attorney-General, to whom the question was
referred, together with copy of the Secretary of State
for the Colonies' despatch No.215 of 1st June, 1933,
to which the opinion refers.
